Privacy Policy

Last updated October 24, 2026

This policy explains how ProudReplay (“we,” “us,” and “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit proudreplay.com, use the app, or contact us. ProudReplay helps adults create and save videos and posters from their photos and video clips.

For privacy questions, access requests, or deletion requests, contact proudreplay@gmail.com.

Information we collect

How we use information

We use information to provide and restore your creations, authenticate accounts, process images and exports, manage subscriptions and usage limits, respond to requests, troubleshoot problems, prevent misuse, and improve the service. We also measure how visitors find ProudReplay and complete signup and other app steps.

Your workspace and uploads are private to your account. We do not publish your family photos or videos in advertising or sell your uploads. We share limited website activity with Meta for advertising measurement and Google for website analytics as described below. If you download a creation and share it elsewhere, the recipient or other service controls that copy.

Service providers and sharing

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, to investigate misuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable protections. Our providers may process information outside the state or country where you live, where privacy laws may differ.

Cookies, browser storage, and usage measurement

Session cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage remembers preferences and signup or installation progress; an installed version of the app may cache app files. Blocking or clearing this storage can affect sign-in and other features. Clearing browser data does not delete your account or server-stored content.

We use our own usage records to understand the service. We also use Meta Pixel to measure visits to the app and successful free-account registrations, and to understand the performance of our Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta may receive the page URL, IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, and these events, and may associate them with activity on its services. Our pixel integration does not send your account email, password, uploaded photos or videos, or creation text as event parameters. Automatic event configuration is disabled in our integration. We do not use Meta Conversions API.

We do not load the pixel on password-reset pages or internal tools, or when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. You can also use your browser’s tracking controls and Meta ad preferences. Blocking advertising tracking does not prevent account creation. Meta processes information under its privacy policy.

We use Google Analytics to understand visits and engagement on our homepage, Support, Privacy Policy, and Terms pages. Google receives page-view and engagement information, browser and device information, and cookie identifiers. Its servers also receive the network information needed to handle these requests. We send a public page address without its query string or fragment, a referring website’s origin without its path or query string, and valid campaign labels when present. We do not send account identifiers, email addresses, passwords, uploaded content, creation text, or payment details as Analytics event parameters.

Our Analytics integration disables advertising personalization and Google Signals, denies advertising storage and advertising data use, and does not automatically measure form interactions or link clicks. We do not load Analytics on password-reset, sign-in/signup, billing-return, installation/handoff, internal, or other non-public URL routes, on URLs with fragments, or when your browser signals Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Analytics cookies recognize repeat visits in the same browser. You can use your browser’s tracking controls or Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google explains its processing in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Retention and deletion

We retain your account and saved content to provide the service while you use it. Account, usage, and subscription records are not automatically erased when you stop visiting the app. We consider the purpose of the information, account activity, support needs, security, disputes, and applicable legal or accounting obligations when deciding how long to retain records.

Deleting a saved moment removes that creation and its associated exports from active storage. Photos, clips, and cutouts are removed when no other saved creation uses them. Copies you have downloaded or shared elsewhere are not removed.

To request account closure or deletion of personal information, email proudreplay@gmail.com from your account email and describe your request. There is no account-deletion button in the app. We may ask you to verify ownership before acting. We may retain limited records when needed to meet legal obligations, resolve billing issues or disputes, or prevent fraud and misuse.

Routine backups retain seven daily snapshots and rotate as new backups complete. Deleted information may remain in backup copies until those copies rotate out. Restricted recovery copies may also be retained for maintenance or recovery needs. Stripe and other providers may retain records under their own policies and legal obligations.

Deleting a moment, uninstalling the app, or clearing browser data does not cancel a subscription. Use Your account → Manage subscription to cancel. If you request account closure, tell us whether you also need help canceling billing.

Children’s privacy

ProudReplay accounts are intended for adults aged 18 or older. Photos and videos uploaded by adults may depict children. Upload only content you have permission to use, and avoid unnecessary sensitive information about a child.

If you believe a child has created an account, or want to report an unauthorized upload or request removal of a child’s information, email proudreplay@gmail.com. We will review the request and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can edit and delete saved moments, download available exports, manage your subscription, and control browser storage. Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on it; or complain to a privacy authority.

Send requests to proudreplay@gmail.com. Include your account email and the action you are requesting. We may verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority to protect your account. If you disagree with our response, reply to request a further review. We will handle requests within applicable legal time limits and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Security and policy changes

We use access controls, HTTPS, and password hashing to help protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security. Keep your login details private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes when required by law.
